Hey there, I’m Tom O’Keefe, as you’ve probably guessed. I’m a New York City based actor and acting coach. More importantly, I’m a father and a husband but that’s probably not why you are here.
As a coach I work with actors regularly appearing in film and television, on Broadway, Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Off Broadway and in regional theater.
As an actor I’ve worked on a number of wonderful projects with so many fantastic people. Some of my favorite television gigs include playing Phil Donahue with Cate Blanchett in Mrs. America, playing Frank Sinatra on American Horror Story and recurring as guest-star Officer Tim Wilson onThe Gifted. On film you can see me as Bobby in the upcoming Song Sung Blue starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson, Walter the zombie dad in All You Need is Blood, and Pete Shirley in Jay Craven’s adaptation of George Bernard Shaw’s Major Barbara. On stage my favorite roles include Claudius and Cauchon in Bedlam’s Off-Broadway productions of Hamlet and St. Joan, The Hostage in The Coop’s Off-Broadway production of Terra Firma, and Henry Bolingbrooke opposite Rocco Sisto’s fantastic Richard in Shakespeare & Company’s production of Richard II.
When I am my best as an actor I am relaxed and grounded, focused on my scene partners and wholly engaged in play. As a coach I help actors get to their best I don’t know if i need/want something LIKE this … maybe???
